Magical short stories from the shire
Brockshire was conceived in 2012. Although, when I really think about it, it has always been there. It just needed the right moment in time to materialize. The many magical stories originating in Brockshire are available on amazon.
Brockshire is a gentle place unaffected by materialism. The inhabitants are kind and often whimsical. You never know who you might run into, or more accurately, who might run into you. Watch out for bicycle Toad in a hurry to get to his fishing cottage. Maybe you will meet a crusade of talking animals. Do you like to collect pennies? If so, you will relate to The Penny Princess.
The landscape is much like that of the Cotswold's of England. Cobblestone lanes and cute little cottages. Some areas of Brockshire are very much like that of a country setting while other areas are park-like with scattered benches and charming street lamps.
Magical things tend to happen in the shire. For instance, the weather is always temperate and comfortable. Unless, of course you prefer the snow. Then you might pass by a cottage with precipitation directly over that particular domicile. When it rains, it only lasts an hour and the sun pops right back out. No need to lock the doors in the shire, it is not a fearsome place. However, if evil ever does find it's way in, the shire has Merriman. He is a merry old soul as his name suggests, but that's a story for another time.
Brockshire sounds great, right?! Stop in for a visit, the shire would love to have you. Just close your eyes and imagine. Where to go first? The Dragonfly Inn of course. See you there! ; )
Cheers!
